Key West is more accessible than most patients expect. Direct flights, a scenic coastal drive, and a compact island layout make arrival and getting around straightforward.

By Air

Key West International Airport (EYW) is located minutes from downtown Key West and the clinic. Direct flights are available from Miami, Fort Lauderdale, Tampa, Orlando, Atlanta, Charlotte, Dallas, and New York (seasonal routes). Flight time from Miami is approximately 45 minutes.

Connecting Through Miami

Miami International Airport (MIA) is the most common connecting hub for patients arriving from outside Florida. From MIA you can take a short connecting flight to EYW, or rent a car for the scenic 3.5-hour drive down the Overseas Highway (US-1). Most national carriers fly into Miami with onward connections to Key West.

Driving from South Florida

The drive from Miami to Key West via US-1 (the Overseas Highway) is approximately 160 miles and takes about 3.5 hours. The route crosses 42 bridges through the Florida Keys and is one of the most scenic drives in the country. Allow extra time during peak season (December through April) and holiday weekends.

Ground Transportation in Key West

Once in Key West, taxis, rideshare services, and rental cars are all available at the airport. Most hotels and the downtown clinic are within a 10-15 minute ride. Key West is a compact island, many patients find that walking or cycling is easy during their stay.
